Role: Contracts Analyst

Department Description:

The Global Procurement organization delivers sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation services to optimize spend and mitigate risk for Oracle. The organization has a contracts team that reviews, negotiates and manages contracts for the procurement of goods and services for internal use at Oracle.

Responsibilities:

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. This position requires knowledge of complex contract language and basic contract negotiation skills.

What you will do:

  • Review, draft and negotiate complex supplier agreements to mitigate Oracle’s risk and ensure

  • compliance with Oracle legal guidelines and procurement policy.

  • Interface with lines of business to understand unique contract requirements to meet business needs.

  • Provide practical, solution-oriented contractual and business advice.

  • Identify and define contract risks and be able to communicate those risks to appropriate internal decision-makers for discussion and resolution.

  • Validate all aspects of supplier agreements for accuracy and compliance with Oracle’s business practices and internal approvals.

  • Draft executive approval requests for key legal clauses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contracts Terms knowledge.

  • Polished written and oral communication.

  • High level of customer service attitude, personal motivation, organized and detail oriented.

  • Excellent analytical and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

  • Excellent research & problem-solving skills.

  • Basic negotiation skills.

  • Time Management skills including managing deadlines and prioritizing contracts effectively.

  • 2-year contracts negotiation experience.

  • Law degree required.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $51,200 to $99,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
