Working with a manufacturing company in the Rockledge, FL area that is seeking qualified Experienced Level Painters for 2nd Shift!!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting the appropriate paint and mixing paints according to predetermined formulas. The role involves operating spray painters or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products and ensuring the desired drying results. The painter will also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment and complying with all safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Select the appropriate paint and mix paints according to predetermined formulas.

• Operate spray painters or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products.

• Monitor drying to ensure desired results.

• Clean and maintain brushes, spray guns, pots, and other equipment using solvents, brushes, and rags.

• Assist the Paint Department Manager in all aspects of the painting process.

• Work under direct supervision on duties and tasks that are standardized, selecting from written instructions and established procedures.

• Maintain tools and keep equipment clean and in proper working order.

• Wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirators, in compliance with safety programs.

• Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials, reporting any deviations to management.

• Stay informed about and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting paint department operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA regulations.

Essential Skills

• Understanding of painting mix ratios, viscosity, and equipment setup.

• Experience with powder coating, industrial painting, spray guns, paint prep, painting, mixing, paint spraying, and coating.

• Proficiency in automotive painting, industrial painting, paint mixing, spray painting, spray guns, HVLP, industrial paint, paint booths, and powder coating.

1st Shift, Monday - Thursday

3:00PM - 1:00AM

Pay:

$33-38 hr. based on experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
