First Health of the Carolinas Clinic Manager in Rockingham, North Carolina

Manages operating and capital budgets. ensures accreditation standards, licensing and regulatory requirements for OSHA, Radiation Protection, HIPPA, OGI and other compliance related efforts required by Federal or State statues. Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures for the clinics. Hires, trains, counsels, coaches and supervises staff with the assistance from FH Human Resources department. Resolves patient complaints/concerns. Implements, monitors, and improves reimbursement procedures, including CPT and IC-9 coding in compliance with established federal, state and third party billing regulations. Manages financial planning and collections. Monitors all operational processes throughout the clinic. Works with all leasing contractors to facilitate satisfaction. Works with the clinical director and marketing team to facilitate contracts. Maintains the facility to provide safe, comfortable and effective environment of care. Works with the physicians to ensure that appropriate resources and systems for patient care are available. Coordinates and monitors patient appointment schedules. Assures that equipment is maintained in good condition. Coordinates with maintenance of equipment with Biomed and Facilities. Prepares and submits daily, weekly, and monthly statistical and accounting information. Monitors employee payroll through Kronos. Implements/monitors Electronic Medical Records with assistance from IS. Qualifications: Minimum of three years experience in physician practice including supervisor/leadership responsibilities. Cardiology experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance rules, including but not limited to reimbursement, third party payers, pre-certification, ICD-9 and CPT coding. Knowledge of various medical software systems.
