About the Role:
In this role, you’ll support a mixed caseload, primarily working with elementary-age students. Depending on caseload standards, middle and high school students may also be added. You’ll play a critical role in enhancing students’ ability to succeed in their educational environments, especially those with special needs, through the power of occupational therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess students' occupational needs and strengths.
Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services to students.
Collaborate with case managers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and classroom teachers to meet students' therapy goals.
Track and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Provide training and resources for staff and the community regarding occupational therapy.
What You Bring:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Eligibility for IDFPR licensure in Illinois.
Preferred experience in a K-12 school setting.
