Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Check, sort, and count incoming material.

• Prepare warehouse operations for upcoming growth.

• Add appropriate labeling to shelves, parts, and bins.

• Move material from the receiving area throughout the facility.

• Assist warehouse team with the movement of raw materials to correct storage/staging locations.

• Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, and monthly as needed.

• Count, weigh, and record the number of units of material.

• Load/unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.

• Unload trucks as necessary.

• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead.

• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.

• Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor.
