Job Title: Office Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and be well versed in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and creating Power Points. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office setting is helpful. Responsibilities include ensuring documentation aligns with the Standard Processes manual and AS9100 standards, assisting with corrective and preventative action procedures, planning and scheduling certifications and educational workshops, logging and tracking administrative requests, ordering parts, completing purchase orders, in bound freight, and following documented procedures to escalate and resolve issues. Additional duties involve greeting and welcoming guests, directing visitors, answering phone calls, maintaining a tidy reception area, providing accurate information, sorting mail, and performing other clerical tasks.

Hard Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excel, and creating power points

  • Ordering parts and IPI (in bound freight)

  • Creating visual and written work instruction

  • Completing purchase orders

  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rockford, Illinois.

Work Environment

1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm, M - Fri. 8-hour days, flexible with either start times mentioned. Work is primarily in an office setting and is essentially sedentary with occasional walking, standing, lifting, bending, or minimal activities carrying items under 25 pounds.
