Robert Half Project Assistant in Rock Hill, South Carolina

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Blood Donor Recruiter in the non-profit sector, located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The primary job function of this role includes onboarding and training of team members, scheduling of key activities, and the management of timelines. This position requires a high degree of organization, data entry skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. This role is part time on weekends. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Can also just been Saturday and Sunday if you work a Monday to Friday position. The hours can be between9 am to 7 pm. This role is 100% outside assisting people and asking if they are interested in donating blood and when the next blood drive is happening and what location between Rock Hill, Chester and York.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting and overseeing the onboarding and training of team members.

• Scheduling and managing timelines for various projects and organizational activities.

• Operating and managing customer service functions to ensure a high level of service is maintained.

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for various administrative tasks.

• Organizing and managing files and documents in an efficient and accessible manner.

• Processing and handling shipping functions as required.

• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.

• Resolving any issues or challenges in a timely and effective manner.

• Demonstrating a high level of commitment to the successful completion of projects and assignments.

• Maintaining a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions, both internally and externally.

Requirements • Must have experience in the non-profit sector

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word is required

• Experience with data entry is essential

• Must possess strong customer service skills

• Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines effectively

• Experience in organizing and managing files is necessary

• Knowledge of scanning and shipping functions is a plus

• Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team setting as well as independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• A positive attitude and professional demeanor are required.
