University of Rochester UR Cardiac Care - Ambulatory Electrophysiology - RN 2, Outpt in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy cardiology clinic specializing in cardiac arrhythmias. Our nurses rely on their strong assessment and critical thinking skills when caring for patients via telephone triage and MyChart messaging, and collaborate with all members of the care team to provide the highest quality care. Providing patient education in office and by telephone is also a highlight of this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cardiology/electrophysiology, strong computer skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and enjoy direct communication with patients. Cardiology experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $35.35 - $45.96

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job¿s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Full/Part Time:
Schedule: Full time weekdays with potential to work 8, 9, or 10 hour shifts. No holidays, nights or weekends.
