University of Rochester Thoracic and Specialty Surgery Nursing Professional Development Practitioner in Rochester, New York
Responsibilities
This candidate will work to assess, design/develop, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives at the unit level ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. The main areas of focus will include but are not limited to: staff education and professional development, practice standards review, onboarding new staff, nurse residency coordination, competency updating, teaching/in-services, collaboration with local nursing schools for capstone placement, as well as monitoring and developing action plans to improve quality metrics. The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Thoracic surgery experience required. Master¿s degree required.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $42.17- $59.03
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job¿s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
