Job Title: Service Electrician

Job Description

Demonstrate knowledge and skills for Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of Electrical systems and equipment. Proficient in troubleshooting and knowledgeable in single and 3 phase wiring systems. Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects. Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment. Inspect and test components of electrical systems including transformers, transfer switches, and circuit breakers.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair single and 3 phase wiring systems.

• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete projects.

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.

• Inspect and test components of electrical systems including transformers, transfer switches, and circuit breakers.

Essential Skills

• Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems

• Knowledge of single and 3 phase wiring systems

• Ability to read and utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals

• Experience in installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical distribution systems

• Ability to inspect and test electrical system components

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Clean and valid Driver's License

• 6+ years of electrical experience

• OSHA 10 certification

• Electrical schooling

• Journeyman license

• Skills in conduit bending and wiring

• Experience with service work

• Electrical License (preferred)

Work Environment

Work is performed in commercial construction settings, servicing various commercial clients. Employees will report to and from different job sites. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.
