The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
With minimum direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment, performs routine and non-routine duties requiring highly advanced secretarial skills and proficiency for the head of an academic, medical service, business or comparable department. Is responsible for considerable departmental administrative details and duties requiring extensive experience with policies, procedures and practices of the University, or within a specific division, or in other demonstrated and related equivalent situations. In department business matters has frequent contacts with Deans, Directors, faculty members, students and other administrative staff. Is responsible for assignment and the review of the day-to-day clerical operations.
SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION RECEIVED:
Receives minimum direction from a Dean, Director, Division or Department Head, or Office Manager.Schedule 8 AM-5 PM Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Perform Secretary IV Duties Requiring Advanced Skills. Serve as first line Secretary IV resource for division faculty, fellows and staff. Provide support to clinical research faculty, APPs, fellows and staff by addressing requests to meet deadlines. Cross covering Admin Asst in Breastfeeding Medicine and Support Staff in Neonatology. TYPICAL DUTIES: - Administrative and financial support for Division of Breastfeeding Medicine. - Division of Breastfeeding Medicine Medical Education Support - Administrative support for the Division of Neonatology - Administrative coordination of clinical coverage/support for Breastfeeding Medicine outpatient clinic Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: - 2 years of post-high school education, secretarial or word processing studies, or the equivalent. - At least 3 years of secretarial and office experience, including 1 year in a position which demonstrated the ability to work with minimum supervision. - Demonstrated ability to word process documents and enter data into a database. Demonstrated skills related to achievement of customer satisfaction. Ability to act as a resource to less experienced staff. URGEMs, eRecord, Workday, P2P, Office 365 preferred. - CLASP Certified (within two years) preferred.
