As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. Total of 22 beds, the Telemetry Med/Surg Unit is a short stay unit that provides care to patients who have an illness in which a complete evaluation and/or treatment is expected to take longer than 8 hours but less than 48 hours, and who are expected to be discharged home or admitted to the Hospital based on the clinical course and response to treatments. Diagnoses on this unit are primarily cardiac in nature, but the unit also cares for patients with a diverse variety of general medical illnesses.

LOCATION: Unity Hospital
DEPARTMENT: 2700
SCHEDULE: Evenings/Nights - 7 P.M. - 7 A.M.; Three 12 hour shifts/week; Every other weekend & Rotating Holidays.

- Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1+ years of critical care RN experience preferred.
- Patient Satisfaction. Solicit and respond to patient feedback to improve service and processes that will enhance the patient experience
- Medication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal
- Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent and complete patient care documentation using computerized medical record process
- AS: Nursing (Required)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
