Compensation Range:

$57,595.20 - $80,600.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Serves as administrative deputy at the senior professional level between health projects involving units within the University and health offices in the region.Schedule 8AM-4:30PM Responsibilities General Purpose: The Program Director- Health Education is a central, hands-on leader in the mission of the Network Health and Prevention Programs. This role involves a significant focus on direct training, curriculum development for multiple evidence-based programs (EVPs) and preparing program implementers to deliver these interventions with high adherence and competence. The Program's current interventions span mental health, suicide, and substance use prevention and promotion. The position oversees EVPs delivered in education and community settings and has an additional focus and significant time allocation on programs delivered to the United States Air Force. The Director of Training and Curriculum is also responsible for supporting and incorporating research, developing systems to prepare and support external trainers, and maintaining a leadership presence that is both intellectual and inspirational. The Program Director- Health Education is a significant contributor to the intellectual and operational leadership of the Network Health and Prevention Programs. Responsibilities: Team Management and Facilitator Development across Programs - Supervise 3-5 team members across multiple programs, including interviewing, onboarding, and providing ongoing direction. Set clear goals and expectations, offer feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high-quality contributions to team efforts. - Lead the onboarding and training of new implementers across various interventions, ensuring they effectively implement programs and are adequately prepared for independent functioning. Direct Training Provision across Programs - Actively deliver training in schools, military, and community settings, contributing directly to the ongoing programs of the organization. Use this hands-on involvement to co-train and mentor new implementers, and gather insights and feedback for further curriculum and program development. - Curriculum Adaptation and Program Implementation across Programs - Take a leadership role in adapting current curriculum and science to new settings and programs. Ensure the core components of programs are maintained for efficacy while creating culturally relevant curriculum for target audiences. - Oversee all steps of multiple program implementations, including developing partnerships, maintaining research protocols, surveys, and data reports, and conducting training sessions. Facilitator Development Course Delivery and Quality Assurance across Programs - Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive Implementer Development Course, ensuring its utility across all training programs. - Oversee ongoing program implementation for fidelity across all programs, developing fidelity rating measures, protocols, and providing feedback. Train other team members in fidelity monitoring to ensure program quality and consistency. - Research Support and Liaison Responsibilities across Programs - Act as a key team liaison at meetings, site visits, and presentations with funders and implementation partners, representing all prevention programs. - Provide support for research efforts across all programs, including effectiveness research and research on training and implementation science. This includes assisting in the writing and review of grant sections related to curriculum and training, estimating workforce needs for grants, supporting progress reports to funders, and facilitating fidelity monitoring for studies. Budget Management - Assist in the development of budget proposals for program activities, coordinating with the financial department to ensure alignment with overall organization finances. - Monitor and oversee the budget for specific program projects across all programs, providing input on cost management and efficiency. - Monitor and report on all program activities, progress, and outcomes, making recommendations for improvements as necessary. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with major course work in an appropriate health, social or technical field. - 3-5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience . Preferred: - Proven experience in training, curriculum development, and program management. - Prior experience as a teacher or trainer in K-12 schools is a major plus - Demonstrable leadership skills, including conflict resolution and team motivation. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. - Ability to travel frequently to partner sites across all programs, both in and out of state. - Experience working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including staff, contractors, and trainers. - Prior experience in a related role, preferably within an academic or healthcare setting. - Deep understanding of program development and implementation, research protocols, and data reporting.
