Description
The University of Rochester School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Generalist Division is recruiting for a full time academic position (Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor level). Qualifications include Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This applicant will be joining a group of faculty members and will be expected to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for teaching medical students and residents. Majority of time will involve direct patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting, surgeries and procedures related to general ob/gyn and participation in research activities. Special consideration will be given for individuals with particular experience in contraception family planning, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, menopause, vulvar care, or minimally invasive surgery.

Qualifications
· M.D./ D.O. Degree or equivalent
· Eligible for a New York State Medical License
· Must meet all credentialing requirements
· Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
· Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
