Rochester Institute Of Technology Postdoctoral Associate in Rochester, New York
Overview:The hired post-doctoral fellow will provide care coordination, evidence based mental health services, consultation, and research in community based settings through Ontario County Mental Health. The postdoctoral fellow will work with RIT's Internship Training team to provide trainings to clinical psychology interns. The post-doc will work to analyze data, prepare manuscripts and facilitate ongoing clinical trial research (e.g., developing recruitment and screening material, assisting in technology-based research/development). Supervision and oversight will be provided by Drs. Berbary, McKinney, and Crane. Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of individual therapy clients.Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments.Provide consultation in county/community-based committees or programs (e.g., Ontario County Specialty Courts, Child or Adult Single Point of Access, Assisted Outpatient Treatment)Develop and conduct psychology trainings focused on 1) mental health and addiction psychoeducation; 2) training involving the use of evidence-based screen tools and digital tools, and 3) single-session motivational enhancement intervention trainings.Supervise pre-doctoral intern therapy and/or assessment cases.Offer in-service or educational trainings to clinical staff or other county/community partnersCollect, analyze, present, and publish data related to integrated care model established.possess a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.have successfully completed an APA accredited internship.have prior experience with evidence based intervention including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewinghave prior experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessment
