Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and oversee all payroll activities and operations. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and distribution of payroll via our payroll software. Responsibilities: Manage compensation packages using payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday). Collect and verify employee information and working hours. Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions. Initiate periodical payments accurately either by preparing and administering checks or by making direct deposits through a bank payment system. Issue statements of earnings and deductions. Handle benefits expenses, like insurance fees or paid leave. Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires). Prepare and submit reports on payroll. Participate in payroll audits. Address employee complaints or questions about wages. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll manager. Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair labor standards, tax regulations, and payroll software. High numerical aptitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting or relevant field; detail oriented certification (e.g. CPP, CPM) is a plus.
