Rochester Regional Health Nurse Recruiter-Hybrid in Rochester, New York
Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with hiring managers on staffing needs and creation of requisitions.
• Responsible for filling staff level positions across the Health Care System.
• Create and/or modify job descriptions and position for external marketing.
• Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
• Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
• Post openings in forms of advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
• Utilize social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
• Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
Network Through Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Trade Groups and Employees
• Locate and document where to find ideal candidates.
• Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable "employer of choice" reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
• Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
• Create contacts within industry.
• Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
• Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
Coordinate and Implement Recruiting Initiatives
• Coordinate recruiting initiatives and represent RGHS in a positive manner
• Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
• Develop working relationships with external parties to aid in recruiting.
• Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
Administrative Duties and Record Keeping
• Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
• Conduct pre-screening interviews.
• Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system.
• Make offers to candidates and oversee successful on boarding of new hires.
• Manage the use of third party recruiters as necessary.
• Remains knowledgeable and up to date on Rochester General Health System benefits program and is able to answer questions from candidates.
• Has the support of a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in coordinating interviews and on boarding of new hires.
• Perform other special projects as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired Attributes:
• New York State RN License preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
• One year of relevant experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of area colleges desired, with experience in on campus recruitment.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic, passionate individual with ability to sell the organization.

PAY RANGE: $60,000.00 - $78,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
