We care for your career while caring for the community.Pension Plan Retirement Plan Advancement Opportunities Employee Discounts SUMMARYAs a Clinical Neuro Tech, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalograms (EEG) and electronystagmographies (ENG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction velocities (NCV), and brain mapping neurometrics on outpatients and inpatients.STATUS: Per DiemLOCATION: Unity Neurosciences and RGH NeurologyDEPARTMENT: Rehab and NeurologySCHEDULE: Day/Evening/ WeekendsATTRIBUTESAAS degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare/patient setting. EEG Certification preferred.Eligible for certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic TechnologistStrong analytical, communication, and computer skillsRESPONSIBILITIESPatient Care. Performs routine, sleep, and complex EEG in accordance with ABRET standards. Assists physician with EMG and performs NCV procedures. Performs studies as appropriate for clinical and research requirements.General Maintenance. Maintains neuro-diagnostic equipment, keeps labs clean and orderly, and orders supplies. Documentation. Generates billing, logging all tests on a daily basis as observed by supervisor. Performs secretarial tasks as needed to assist EEG secretary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $18.25 - $25.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
