Rooming patients and taking vital signs (blood pressure, weight, etc.) Collecting and processing urine samples, spinning urine samples Administering medication checks Assisting with patient exams and medical procedures as needed Maintaining patient records and charting (electronic medical records) Providing strong patient care and communication Completion of medical assistant competencies (including rooming patients, blood pressure checks, weights, med checks) Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different tasks Dependable and punctual Experience working in nephrology or similar specialties is a plus
