General Production Worker

Job Description

• Responsible for passing chicken through the production line

• Reviewing product labels for accuracy and quality of product up to company standard prior to shipment

• Applying seasonings and marinades in the different marinade rooms

• Packing up completed products for shipments

• Candidates will be trained on all areas and rotated every 2 hours for variety/cross training

(Meat is all pre-cut so there will be no machine operation involved, once candidate is brought on direct machine operation is a path for growth)

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rochester, New York.

Work Environment

Candidates will be working at the Culinary Innovation Center on the chicken line. The entire facility is kept at 32-degree environments so candidates need to be comfortable working in this environment. It is recommended that they dress in layers. Additional coats, gloves, and boots for safety will be provided. The line can also have an odor because they are working with foods and the smell will vary depending on department and the product they are supporting.

Shift: Monday - Friday First Shift - Typical hours are between 8:00am - 4:30pm but candidates must be available from 4:00am - 5:30pm and comfortable working some weekends as needed.
