Job Title: Framing Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled framing carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with metal stud framing in commercial environments and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. This role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and metal into frames, ensuring the structures are level and square.
Responsibilities
Measure and cut wood and metal materials for framing.
Assemble wood and metal frames using appropriate tools.
Ensure all structures are level and square using a carpenter's square, levels, and hammers.
Read and interpret blueprints to execute framing tasks accurately.
Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Assist with general labor tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience with metal stud framing.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to use a carpenter's square and read blueprints.
OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment
Work will take place on commercial construction sites. While work is indoors, buildings may not be fully heated or cooled, resulting in cold conditions in the winter and hot conditions in the summer. The team consists of over 55 employees, ranging from helpers to superintendents. Typical work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with variations depending on the general contractor's requirements.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00
