Rochester, New York [Hybrid]
FULL-TIME [Exempt] : 40 Hours
Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) (https://positions.paylocity.com/PositionManagement/wizard/2033511) seeks a talentedExecutive Directorto contribute their expertise as a key member of the COAE leadership team, partnering with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to advance organizational goals, ensure operational excellence, and drive member engagement and advocacy initiatives. ThisExecutive Directorrole requires an executive-level professional capable of fostering collaboration, managing complex operations, and positioning COAE as a leader in its field.
CCSI is partnering with theCouncil of Agency Executives (COAE)to hire anExecutive Director.This position is employed by CCSI and working on behalf of theCouncil of Agency Executives (COAE).
Specific responsibilities of this role include:
Organizational Leadership and Governance
Collaborate with the COAE Board Chair and Board of Directors to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with COAE’s mission and goals.
Facilitate effective governance by providing guidance and administrative support to the Board of Directors, committees, and affinity groups, ensuring compliance with COAE bylaws and best practices.
Represent COAE to internal and external stakeholders, serving as a dynamic ambassador for the organization’s mission and values.
Membership and Engagement
Oversee and manage membership operations, including the collection and processing of annual dues, membership agreements, and related initiatives.
Drive strategies to enhance member recruitment, retention, and engagement, fostering a robust and inclusive member community.
Lead the implementation and operations of member engagement workgroups and affinity groups, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Program Development and Execution
Direct the planning, development, and execution of COAE programs and initiatives, ensuring excellence in contract performance, budget adherence, staffing, and scheduling.
Organize and oversee the annual meeting and awards program, including managing sponsorships, vendor relations, and marketing efforts.
Monitor and evaluate program performance, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
Financial and Operational Management
Develop, monitor, and manage the annual budget in alignment with organizational objectives and fiscal stewardship.
Ensure accurate and timely expense reporting and financial documentation.
Provide oversight for operational workflows, refining processes to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain organizational records and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Board Chair to support COAE’s mission and strategic priorities.
Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of organizational/division management and/or operations experience, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart (https://www.ccsi.org/CCSI/media/pdfs/Equivalency-chart.pdf) )
Proven experience providing executive-level leadership with a track record of success in organizational management and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated expertise in nonprofit or membership-based organization operations is preferred.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Knowledge of the technical, administrative, and economic issues facing non-profits.
Additional Requirements
Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
Travel will be as needed between different locations to successfully execute job duties.
