Job Description:
This role will support the manufacturing floor by maintaining equipment, tooling and processes to minimize down time and optimize process flow. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a wide range of equipment and technology.
Essential Functions:
Troubleshoot & repair manufacturing equipment
Maintain fixturing & tooling
Update process documentation
Repair and/or disposition defective material
Switfly respond to station down tickets
Maintain chemical waste cabinets
Assist with production to execute engineering trials
Assist with the maintenance of calibrated tooling
Maintain a clean and organized environment (5S+1)
Working on your feet and occassional moving <50lb
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant work experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with PLC’s and/or programmed fastening systems (Mountz/ASG)
3D cad modeling (Creo Parametric)
3D printing
Understanding of process flow & lean manufacturing
Good communication skills
Understanding of basic hand tools and their use
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $51,000 - $94,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
