Description We are seeking a meticulous Credit Analyst to join our team in the construction/contractor industry located in Rochester, New York. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. You will be tasked with analyzing and assessing the credit data and financial statements of potential clients, contributing to the company's risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the creditworthiness of credit applications based on established criteria and company guidelines.

• Compile financial reports to assist management in making informed decisions.

• Interpret the financial statements, credit history, and payment habits of potential clients to gauge their financial stability.

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide credit advice and support.

• Monitor the credit status of existing clients and relay relevant information to the sales team.

• Conduct market research and prepare forecasts.

• Stay informed about economic trends and changes that could affect industry risk.

• Ensure adherence to collection processes to maintain minimal levels of bad debts.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis, such as ratio and trend analysis on potential and existing customers.

• Determine the credit risk level and credit limit for clients. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M is necessary for this role

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must

• CRM knowledge is essential

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial

• Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis is a key requirement

• Knowledge of Collection Processes is important

• Experience in handling Credit is a must

• Familiarity with Credit Application process is required
