Description

We are offering a remote opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Rochester, New York. This role involves handling all aspects of financial record keeping within our company. The Bookkeeper will be tasked with responsibilities ranging from bank reconciliations to managing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable to manage the inflow and outflow of finances.

• Performing bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial data.

• Managing data entry tasks related to financial transactions and records.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.

• Performing month-end close procedures to prepare for the new accounting period.

• Utilizing QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.

• Balancing the company's balance sheet through regular account reconciliation.

• Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring it reflects accurate financial data.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), managing outgoing payments to vendors and suppliers.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring prompt and accurate invoicing and collection of payments.

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations, reconciling bank statements with the general ledger.

• Solid understanding and experience in Bookkeeping, maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.

• Proficiency in Data Entry, ensuring all financial data is accurately captured and recorded in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported at the end of each month.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for managing all bookkeeping tasks.

• Experience in using Quickbooks Online, managing bookkeeping tasks remotely.

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are accurately reconciled.

• Solid understanding and experience in managing General Ledger, recording all financial transactions accurately.
