Robert Half A/R Recovery Representative I (Tier II) in Rochester, New York
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an A/R Recovery Representative I (Tier II) in ROCHESTER, New York. This role primarily revolves around resolving overdue invoices while ensuring quality service to both internal and external customers. Additionally, this role involves mitigating the company's risk and educating various stakeholders about the resolution process and addressing billing disputes.
Responsibilities:
• Managing current, overdue, and returned receivable inquiries via phone and email communication with clients and external partners.
• Developing and maintaining basic knowledge of various products and services, including but not limited to Payroll, Human Resource Services, and Acquired portfolios.
• Mitigating risk and exposure to the company by striking a balance between service and collection effectiveness.
• Resolving disputes through available resources and using corresponding systems to recover and collect revenue from the company's products and services.
• Reviewing daily payroll holds for timely client contact when overdue balances are present.
• Ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures on a daily basis.
• Participating in ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills. Requirements • Proficient in Customer Service with strong ability to handle customer queries and provide satisfactory solutions
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Ability to conduct Training sessions for team members to ensure adherence to procedures
• Knowledge of Compliance procedures and regulations in the finance sector
• Experience in handling Payroll and Invoice related tasks
• Familiarity with Billing Functions and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for documentation and report creation
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration, particularly in relation to finance roles
• Understanding of Finance principles and practices
• Familiarity with Collection Processes and Revenue Accounting
• Ability to work effectively with Partners to achieve business goals
• Experience in Dispute Resolution and Recovery processes
• Strong Decision-Making skills for effective problem-solving
• Knowledge of Mitigation strategies in financial recovery
• Ability to provide excellent service to External Customers and collaborate with External Partners
• Understanding of Department Policy and ability to ensure its application
• Experience with Paychex software for payroll and HR functions
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions, including accounts receivable and payable.
