University of Rochester Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology (AIR) Outpatient - Assistant Nurse Manager in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

UR AIR is seeking a passionate and innovative individual to join our leadership team. The Assistant Nurse Manager role at AIR is a dynamic leadership position that works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team across multiple sites. The assistant nurse manager will play a pivotal part in shaping patient care, have a strong clinical focus on the needs of the allergy, immunology and rheumatology patients both in clinic as well as our infusion centers. Responsibilities include leading patient and staff scheduling to optimize workflows and patient experience, empowering staff and patients through education and orientation, being a champion of safety and process improvement initiatives, and aiding in the strategic planning of evolving department needs. This team member will embody the ability to foster teamwork through strong communication and critical thinking skills. Qualifications

Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $42.17- $59.03

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job¿s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
