The Unity Hospital of Rochester (Rochester, NY) seeks Addiction Medicine Physician/Medical Director. Provide direct patient care in the area of Addiction Medicine on a regularly scheduled basis including call coverage, providing prevention, screening, intervention and treatment for substance use and addiction. Provide comprehensive medical care and supervision of patients as medically indicated onsite, in the hospital or at home. Coordinate diagnostic and treatment procedures and referral care. May serve as faculty for the residency program and, as appropriate, for undergraduate medical students. Provide clinical leadership and oversight of services in behavioral health/chemical dependency services. Direct supervisory management of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and others, as assigned. Serve as member of Behavioral Health leadership team working on strategic planning and setting goals for quality improvement, access to services, patient satisfaction and fiscal health. Lead innovation and program development in conjunction with administrative, clinical, and medical leaders. Assist in the recruitment and selection of physicians and APPs and maintain a high level of physician and APP engagement and citizenship. Lead, promote and educate staff on best practice initiatives. Req: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or foreign equivalent. Completion of residency training program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and board certification in Addiction Medicine. Valid New York State physician license.Salary: $119,766-$390,000/yr
