Hannah Savage with Robert Half is currently seeking experienced Accounts Payable Specialists who are tech savvy to support a growing organization. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of success in processing a high volume of AP invoices accurately and efficiently. This role will involve coding invoices to the general ledger, auditing invoices for accuracy and compliance, responding to department and vendor inquiries, and more. Multiple positions are available for candidates with high-volume AP experience.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of AP invoices accurately and efficiently

• Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts

• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures

• Conduct regular audits of invoices and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner

• Respond to inquiries from internal departments and external vendors regarding invoice status, payment inquiries, and other AP-related matters

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AP processes and efficiency

• Adhere to all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on high-volume processing

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Technology skills are a must

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
