Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Rochester, New York, within the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. The role involves accounting responsibilities and requires proficiency in various software and skills. The workplace is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be involved in various aspects of account management.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently processing invoices and verifying their accuracy

• Conducting regular check runs to ensure timely payments

• Handling account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records

• Utilizing software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks

• Executing data entry tasks meticulously and accurately

• Managing and maintaining Accounts Payable (AP) records

• Addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies in invoices or payments

• Regularly reviewing and monitoring customer accounts

• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations

• Adapting to the use of Quickbooks Online for certain finance-related tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.

• Demonstrated experience with account reconciliation.

• Ability to perform check runs and code invoices accurately.

• Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.

• Experience with Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks for accounting tasks.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online for managing and processing transactions.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors in financial data.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments.

• A solid understanding of the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industries.
