Summary: Assigns and coordinates activities of workers engaged in assembling, testing and inspecting of assemblies and subassemblies Responsibilities: * Analyzes production schedule and assign jobs to line workers needed to meet delivery dates * Plans work assignments for group on basis of priority and worker skills * Assigns duties to workers and evaluate worker performance * Implements company policies and procedures *Examines product according to knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards to ensure acceptability * Reviews and compiles operations records, such as yield, scrap and maintenance costs * Reviews work orders, product specifications, technical instructions and facility requirements, requisition tools. Equipment and supplies for section * Enters and verify employees work time into system * Adapts easily to changing programs; flexible to do tasks assigned Other information: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Effective interpersonal skills * Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required * Effective organization and prioritization skills * Demonstrate high attention to detail * Ability to work with diverse groups * Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment. * Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools. * Strong customer service and client focus * Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software *4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management *2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience; 1+ years in a leadership role; * Experience in contract manufacturing preferred * Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools * Ability to drive solutions to planning issues with direction from senior management *Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required * Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company * Demonstrate leadership and people management skills * Demonstrate teamwork and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with direction * Lead or participate in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format * Demonstrate the ability to lead a small group through successful process improvement projects Education: 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management Geographical Location: Minnesota:Rochester Physical Location: Rochester, MN Shift: 1st Work Schedule: M-Th 0530-1600 Full Time Export Control: This job position may include access to controlled information or technology covered under applicable U.S. export control laws.
