Salvation Army Case Manager - Castleview in Rochester, Minnesota
Position Summary The Salvation Army Northern Division Rochester Castleview Case Manager is responsible for providing a full range of case management services to Castleview residents. $25.00 - $26.00/hour, 40 hours/week Essential Functions (approximate time spent) Provide long-term strength-based, person-centered holistic case management to Castleview residents. (60%) Coordinate services for participants with collaborative agencies. (15%) Assist with program fiscal responsibility including budgeting, grant spending, and billings. (15%) Maintain up-to-date, accurate participant information in casefiles and through database entry. (5%) Engage in internal and external activities/meetings to promote and further The Salvation Army goals and objectives. (5%) Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field. In lieu of degree, education and experience may be considered. If degree is in social work, must be licensed by state board. Experience working in a social service setting conducting long-term case management preferred Must pass background checks, possess valid driver's license, and meet MVR requirements. Competencies Flexible interpersonal and communication skills. High level of honor in dealing with confidential information. Works with integrity, valuing honesty, and diligence. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, databases, and standard office equipment. Working Conditions A variety of work including sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, typing, and lifting. Professional environment; not eligible for a remote-friendly work environment. Must be able to communicate clearly in English. Standard business hours with occasional evenings and weekends. Must be able to occasionally lift 20 pounds. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Travel/Driving Requirements Drive agency vehicle locally to facilitate case management services.
