Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Rochester, Michigan. This role is primarily based in the non-profit sector, and the selected candidate will be expected to manage a variety of financial and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record pledges and contributions

• Carry out daily and Sunday postings of contributions to relevant accounts

• Efficiently handle accounts payable and vendor records

• Oversee accounts receivable and designated fund accounts

• Conduct payroll operations and handle tax forms

• Manage employee benefits and maintain related records

• Prepare monthly financial reports including Profit/Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and other special reports

• Maintain and reconcile banking accounts, making deposits as required

• Administer the Breeze database and generate necessary Breeze reports

• Support annual and special fundraising initiatives

• Order and maintain necessary bookkeeping supplies

• Provide assistance on various projects as needed

• Complete stock transactions when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proven track record in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Ability to handle Month-end Close Activities efficiently

• Experience in managing Payroll for under 100 employees

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience in Fund Accounting, preferably in a Non-Profit setting
