Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking an organized and diligent warehouse worker to join our team. The primary role involves picking orders from shelves, scanning barcodes to ensure accuracy, and preparing items for shipment. The warehouse is well-organized, with items stored alphabetically for easy access.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from shelves based on provided lists.

• Use a scan gun to verify item ID numbers and quantities.

• Collect items and prepare them for shipment.

• Ensure items are sent to the shipping department.

• Maintain an organized and clean work area.

• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations, including picking/packing, material handling, and shipping/receiving.

• Solid job tenure with at least 12 months in one of the last two positions.

• Strong communication skills and flexibility.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and twisting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Direct shipping/receiving experience.

• Experience with Hilo and pallet jack operations.

• Proficiency in scanning and inventory management.

Work Environment

The warehouse is extremely clean and organized, with clearly labeled items for easy access. While not climate-controlled, employees are encouraged to dress comfortably for the cooler temperatures during winter. The attendance policy is flexible after the first week, with a focus on prompt communication for any absences. Employees will receive a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks.
