Summary

CHS, Inc has an opportunity in our Global Grain & Processing division in Rochelle, IL. We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Lubricant's Technician. Come join our team in Rochelle, IL and see where your career with CHS can take you.

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, lubricate and maintain machinery, equipment or vehicles as needed and as efficiently and timely as possible.

  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the most efficient operation.

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe action or conditions.

  • Perform lubrication planning and scheduling activities to assigned equipment work orders.

  • Lubricated all assigned points in the plant.

  • Filling out all required paperwork and supporting documentation.

  • Maintaining the oil sampling program

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or directed.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • 1 year of Production, Operations, and/or Maintenance

Additional Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting issues and implementing measures to prevent reoccurring maintenance problems.

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.

  • Self-starter and ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in noisy, dusty and all-weather conditions.

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at height.

  • Ability to carry 50 lbs.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
