The Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising the programs for maintenance, repair, and legalization of fleet vehicles as well as operational efficiency. The Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator also will assist the Fleet Manager in other functions of the vehicle fleet department.The Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising the programs for maintenance, repair, and legalization of fleet vehicles as well as operational efficiency. The Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator also will assist the Fleet Manager in other functions of the vehicle fleet department.
Essential Functions
- Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ensure PM plans are strictly adhered to.
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Coordinate and follow up on vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Consult with Fleet Manager on scope and need for repairs
- Manage vehicle databases.
- Registering and licensing all vehicles
- Complying with U.S. Department of Transport laws and regulations
- skillfully, develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance.
- All other additional duties as needed
Educational and Experience Requirement
Exceptional customer service skills
2-5 years experience in fleet management
High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred
Experience with telematics software, MS Office Suite (Proficient- Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
