Job Summary

Manage the construction, maintenance, and operation of the distribution system to provide safe, timely, and reliable service to our customers. Manage service restoration efforts when necessary. Manage resources within capital and operation and maintenance budgets.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide leadership and direction to provide a safe work environment and a safe distribution system for employees and the public.

Manage resources and assets to meet business unit and corporate goals.

Manage the construction, maintenance, and operation of the distribution system within appropriate design standards to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Provide leadership and direction to ensure all employees are well trained, knowledgeable, enabled and focused on the success of the company.Manage resources within assigned budgets.

Review budget results and identify areas for improvements and recommend cost saving solutions.Manage resources to provide safe and timely service restoration during outages.

Coordinate and monitor the acquisition, cost, use and maintenance of tools, vehicles and equipment.Formulate and recommend policies, practices and procedures pertaining to the operation of the line section; administer such as approved.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred with a minimum of 8 years of experience in distribution, construction, maintenance and/or operations, OR Associates degree with minimum of 10 years of experience in distribution, construction, maintenance and/or operations , OR High school diploma / GED with 11 years of experience in distribution, construction, maintenance and/or operations. Minimum five years' supervisory experience in distribution activities or equivalent leadership experience required.

Licenses/Certifications: Must maintain a State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1) Thorough knowledge of distribution systems required.

2) Acceptable written and verbal communications skills.

3) Must be able to travel to various locations for extended periods.

4) Must be able to see information on computer screen and use computer keyboard.

5) Must be able to hear spoken words via telephone, cell phone or during individual or group meetings.

$129,963.00-168,952.00 USD
