Job Title: Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Application Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is crucial for ensuring the design and development of high-quality transformer solutions that meet customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical engineering, experience in power systems, and a commitment to delivering innovative and reliable products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications and requirements to design transformers that meet their specific needs and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to develop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

• Prepare customer Product Costing with in-house tools.

• Manage time for various activities related to the quotation process.

• Coordinate efforts between the design and manufacturing departments regarding customer needs.

• Serve as the technical liaison between the company and customers, ensuring clear communication of specifications and expectations.

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements.

• Share the quotation package with the Project Management Office in case of an order and complete system entry for the order.

Essential Skills

• Experience in AutoCAD, electrical engineering, and CAD design.

• Proven project management skills.

• Proficiency in technical sales and application engineering.

• Strong customer service orientation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in electrical power systems, particularly in transformer design.

• Thorough understanding of industry regulations and safety standards pertaining to electrical and power engineering.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and concisely.

• 0-1 years of electrical engineering design experience.

Work Environment

The team consists of 20-30 Application Engineers and reports to one of 7 sales directors split by vertical segment. The role follows a standard in-office schedule from Monday to Friday. The department is expected to double in size within the next year, reflecting the company's impressive 60% growth over the last two years.
