Summary:Responsible for cooking and serving all meats including Brisket and Ribeyes, restocking food on the serving pits, cutting meat orders for guests, and using a scale to weigh all meats cut for customers by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Cut orders for guests
- Restock food on serving pit from warmers or pits.
- Ensures that food holds its temperature.
- Cooks Ribeyes to order following Hard Eight procedures
- Adds coals when needed.
- Cleans floors of outside meat walk-in
- Maintains clean work areas.
- Maintains levels of buttered corn.
- Maintains levels of baked potatoes.
- Interacts with guests going through the line.
- Weighs out food for customers.
- Takes out trash and recyclable items.
- Loads wood box during/after shift, at close for next day.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Specific Pit Crew Positions:
Cutter, Wingman, Scale, Brisket/Ribeye, Cook, Runner
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
