Operations Team Manager

The Operations Team Manager is responsible for ensuring the assembly line meets the daily production schedule requirements efficiently while adhering to standard assembly processes and procedures. They provide training to team members and ensure safety and quality guidelines are followed at all times.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide hands on leadership to ensure daily Production goals are met by working with assembly teams to resolve challenges, set goals, improve processes and foster a strong team environment.
  2. Adhere to all workplace safety rules and promote a safety focused culture.
  3. Set and adjust sequencing of product for the assembly line based on constraints and business needs.
  4. Report problems and concerns with safety, quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to the Production Manager and work to resolve them through corrective actions.
  5. Report and maintain data for assembly line status and performance.
  6. Perform administrative changes to work orders to support flexible Production needs with accurate records.
  7. Work with supporting departments to ensure continuous assembly of products.
  8. Identify, support, and implement continuous improvements to the assembly area.
  9. Participate in the recruiting and onboarding of new assembly technicians, provide training, and conduct routine performance reviews for team members.
  10. Manage time and attendance for direct and indirect reports.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to lead a diverse team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ERP system(s).
  • Must obtain the Texas Railroad Commission certification for CNG service and installation within 45 days of hire.
  • If required to drive, for any reason, on behalf of the company, must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the companys insurance carrier.
