JobDescription:

We are seeking adedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provideone-on-one care for a female high school student in a special educationclassroom. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children oradolescents with special needs and will be committed to ensuring the student’shealth and well-being throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to the student, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing any medical emergencies.

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.

• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of the student’s health status and any interventions performed.

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student within the classroom setting.

  Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina.

• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the student.
