Microsoft Corporation Ru’aa Program: Solution Area Specialists Internship Opportunities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

As a Solution Specialist you will discover and qualifie new leads; drive consumption with new and exisiting customers. Identify market and customer needs and collaborates with internal teams to devise solutions to meet those needs. Orchestrate deals across multiple stakeholder groups including partners. Position Microsoft solutions in competitive landscape through research and collaboration; utilizes industry expertise to differentiate Microsoft solutions. Develop and manage pipeline for territory and forecasts resource needs; meet with customers on site to deepen relationships and solution development.

Responsibilities

About: Ru’aa Program is Microsoft's program tailored for Saudi Nationals , aiming to accelerate Saudi employability and create market impact through early in career recruitment, and skilling programs.

Program overview: Microsoft Ru’aa Internship is a paid nine-month training program that offers globally recognized technical and professional certifications & skills, and on-the-job training to include mentoring, coaching, job shadowing and real-life scenario assignments.

Program Details: The 9 months, full-time program is divided into two key phases (Phase 1 - Onboarding & Skilling, Phase 2 - On The Job Training)

Phase one : Onboarding & Skilling Bootcamp (1 month)

  • Onboarding and introduction to Microsoft’s mission, culture, strategy & structure.

  • Technical skilling to obtain globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications.

  • Professional and soft skilling courses including project management, change management, effective interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation, and time management.

Phase two: On-the-job training (8 months)

  • Joining as a Solution Specialist Intern for on-the-job shadowing and training.

  • Mentorship and coaching sessions.

  • Supporting Microsoft teams in digital transformation projects.

  • Advanced technology trainings including AI, Machine Learning & Cloud Computing.

  • Learn how Microsoft's 3-cloud-platform can enable digital transformation areas. Support team members on digital transformation opportunities in an assigned area by applying established process and activities.

  • Receive leads from Marketing and convert leads into opportunities for the supported business. Apply Microsoft's sales process (MSP) to determine the quality of the opportunity and whether to proceed.

  • Collaborate with One Commercial Partner (OCP) and other assigned partners to cross-sell and up-sell products, solutions, and services. Understand the ecosystem of the partners in a solution area.

  • Participate in and contributes to internal technical community discussions and conversations.

  • Seek client feedback (both formal and informal) to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and execute plans to maintain and continue to build on it, and identify and understand the drivers of dissatisfaction, determine the root cause of problems, and establish recovery action plan to improve clients overall experience. Share feedback with account teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qulifications

  • Currently pursuing complete a Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science,Engineering, Business Administration,Business, or related field (OR must be recent graduates or recently graduated).

  • Saudi nationality.

  • Legally authorized to work in Saudi Arabia (Legally authorized = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).

  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for technology and customer obsessed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills. 

  • Strong balance of both business and technical skills.

  • Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills .

  • Technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience is a plus.
