THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Industrial Consulting business is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join the team! This role requires a dynamic, thorough, well-market articulated and accomplished pioneer to lead multiple large scale Industrial Advisory projects. In this role you will manage and guide project teams, work with the team in formulating effective strategies for clients, reviewing deliverables etc. to ensure successful project delivery. You will act as the single point of contact for client requirements as the subject matter expert leading the course with your exceptional understanding of each client’s goals and objectives and converting them into service requirements. You will also be the front as it relates to your reviewing and involvement in the preparation of proposals, pitches and any additional business with clients and head the team’s efforts towards the successful closure of business leads to enable us to expand our footprint of influence.

About the Consulting Group, CBRE - Industrial Advisory

The Industrial Advisory Group of CBRE Consulting is a specialized advisory practice that undertakes assignments focused towards Industrial Infrastructure sector across a broad spectrum of geographies such as Middle East & Africa, East Europe, South & South-East Asia, South America, etc. The Industrial advisory team has experience in 35+ Countries and has worked on Industrial projects ranging from 100 Ha to 20,000 Ha in size, which include Industrial Zones & Parks, Industrial Cities, Manufacturing Free Zones & Special Economic Zones, High Tech Manufacturing R&D Zones, Port Industrial zones, Airport Industrial Zones, etc. The groups clients include some of the world’s largest Industrial Developers, Industrial Corporates/ Manufacturing Companies, Industrial Planners, Industrial Investors and Multilateral Agencies, as well as major Government Industrial Infrastructure Agencies of various countries.

These projects typically involve services such as Industrial Sector Opportunity Assessment / Feasibilities, Economic Plans, Socio Economic Impact Assessment, Industrial Demand for Value of Output, Industrial Built Up and Land area assessment, Cargo Volume Generation Assessment, Industrial Supply Chain Optimization Studies, Industrial Value Chain Analysis, Industrial Zone Governance Structuring, Implementation & Management Concept, Industrial Clusterization Plan, Traffic forecasting / projections, Industrial employment & population, Utility Assessments, Industrial Park & Zone Feasibility studies, etc.

OUR IDEAL PERSON IS SOMEONE WHO:

  • Is fluent in both Arabic and English (verbal and written) with other languages being a plus.

  • Ability to travel frequently across Middle East as well as work to deadlines and manage time effectively

  • Has acquired an MBA / Masters in Finance / Economics or equivalent specialization

  • 8 – 10 years’ work experience with specialized international development consulting firms or Industrial Park projects

  • Proven relevant business experience as a senior professional in Consulting/Advisory services in the field of Industrial Infrastructure and Real Estate Consulting / Strategic Consulting across Middle East

  • Should have successfully managed and delivered Industrial / economic consulting studies, covering industrial parks, industrial cities, economic / industrial corridors, Special Economic Zones / Free Trade Zones, Airport / Port led industrial zones, industrial townships, industrial led urban development, High-tech industrial / Innovation & R&D developments, etc. Experience in Middle East region will be preferred.

  • Understanding of the industrial and manufacturing sector dynamics as well as economics, trade, policy, etc. across emerging markets especially for Middle East and Africa geographies

  • Proficiency in use of various statistical and economic models used for demand forecasting, sector analysis, economic impact assessment, etc.

  • Sound knowledge of financial modeling, public private structuring, and experience in having undertaken financial analysis for Industrial infrastructure projects

  • Exposure to regional markets is necessary, and ideally the candidate should have had business exposure to Middle East Industrial markets

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, ‘report’ writing capabilities, preparation and delivery of presentations to clients
