Parsons Corporation Procurement Manager (Saudi National) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a major infrastructure PMO in Riyadh.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provides management and direction for all procurement functions, including purchasing, expediting, supplier data control, supplier quality.
Reviews work produced by subordinates to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed, and that quality of procured items meets or exceeds requirements.
Monitors the productivity and technical proficiency of the assigned personnel. Make staffing assignments and reassignments as Company and project needs dictate.
Monitors staffing requirements and expenditures within budget constraints.
Coordinates procurement activities with clients, project management, and other departments within the Company.
Actively participates in the Company’s Quality Improvement Process.
Promotes technical excellence in all employees.
May endeavor to develop a partnership agreement where supplier quality and performance are consistent with Company and client requirements.
Participates in establishing and maintaining Procurement Department polices and procedures, working closely with upper management.
Ensures compliance with the Company’s business ethics policy and with the Conflict of Interest Policy.
Offers training in these policies, as needed, to the assigned procurement personnel.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Economics (or related field) and typically 10+ years of related work experience, including some experience in a lead capacity.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Broad experience in a variety of procurement assignments, proven leadership capability, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
A demonstrated proficiency in utilizing DMCS (or similar material control system) is also required.
