Your day at NTT DATA

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting systems and data from cyber threats. You will be responsible of File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) tasks in addition to Network Configuration Audits.

You will design, implement, and maintain security measures to safeguard our digital assets. You will also work closely with other IT professionals to ensure our security protocols are up-to-date and effective. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of software applications throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with development teams to identify and mitigate security risks, implement security best practices, and respond to security incidents.

What you'll be doing

Job Summary:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting systems and data from cyber threats. You will be responsible of File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) tasks in addition to Network Configuration Audits.

You will design, implement, and maintain security measures to safeguard our digital assets. You will also work closely with other IT professionals to ensure our security protocols are up-to-date and effective. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of software applications throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with development teams to identify and mitigate security risks, implement security best practices, and respond to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure network solutions to protect against cyber threats.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

  • File Integrity Monitoring (FIM).

  • Working with API Solutions.

  • Performing Network Configuration Audits

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.

  • Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

  • Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

  • Provide training and support to staff on security best practices.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure comprehensive security measures.

  • Collaborate with developers and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Conduct security reviews and threat modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities.

  • Perform penetration testing and code reviews to uncover security weaknesses.

  • Develop and implement security protocols and policies.

  • Oversee the implementation of security tools and processes within the application security team.

  • Respond to security incidents and provide guidance on remediation.

  • Maintain documentation of application security controls and procedures.

  • Provide training and awareness programs to enhance security knowledge across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role

  • Experience in Tripwire File Integrity Monitoring

  • Experience in Noname API Solution.

  • Experience in Network Configuration Audits using Nipper.

  • Strong understanding of network architectures, operating systems, and encryption technologies

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA Security+ are a plus

  • Strong understanding of web application security, secure coding practices, and the SDLC.

  • Knowledge of security protocols, encryption techniques, and vulnerability assessment tools.
