Job Description:

Responsible for supporting the business with the development of, and enhancements to, their risk and control environment. Deliver accurate and timely examination ready workpapers and supporting documentation for requests. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities

  • Executes upon established sustainable risk assessment framework, ensuring first-line execution aligns. Supports the business with the development of, and enhancements to, their control environment.

  • Monitors and validates risk and control library changes. Develops and maintains library of enterprise-wide risk and control statements.

  • Implements risk program activities to ensure the enterprise carries out activities according to requirements.

  • Supports the business with developing requirements for the effective management of operational risk events.

  • Monitors issues and action plans to ensure proper execution against relevant standards and policies.

  • Collaborates with various level of management within the areas of responsibilities, including the risk functions within the first line of defense.

  • Compiles and reconciles responses to regulatory exams, internal, external audit requests and responses for committee and board reporting.

  • Provide support to regulatory exam / internal and external audit / and serve as an effective challenge for remediated findings.

  • Completes ad hoc assignments as needed.

  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Risk Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Business, Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, or related field

  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

If we had our say, we’d also look for:

  • 4+ years of experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Business, Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, or related field

  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, or related field

  • CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar certification

  • Project Management Professional

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
