Job Description:

Coordinates planning and implementation for overall recovery of a business impacting event. Ensure arrangements and procedures have been established that confirms critical business functions can continue within planned levels of disruption. The end result of the planning process is the Business Recovery Plan. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management

Responsibilities

  • Perform Issue Assessment to identify critical areas of potential business risks and opportunities. This is evaluated through Business Continuity plan testing, training/awareness, BC governance documentation, and/or business impact analysis process.

  • Coordinates critical process dependencies (vendor, technology and process interdependency) and recovery strategies during the planning process and assists business as needed during a business continuity event.

  • Facilitates discussions and debates with the business on critical decisions. Challenges the businesses assumptions about value drivers and presents alternative scenarios relative to business continuity planning.

  • Coordinates business continuity training/awareness activities to ensure that Business Continuity teams are trained and proficient in implementing the business continuity plans.

  • Coordinates annual business continuity exercises to test overall plan resiliency and effectiveness. Supports/Reviews Business Continuity governance documentation. (Policy, Standards, Procedures, Glossary, Job Aids).

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4 + years of experience in Financial Services Industry

  • In Lieu of Education Experience 6 + years of Business Continuity Planning

  • Certified Professional Business Continuity Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management or finance

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
