Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician I position will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all machines and equipment assigned. This role requires a high degree of responsibility, skill, knowledge, training, and experience. The position is expected to work with minimal supervision or direction to complete projects and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, identify problems, and repair machines.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hand or power tools.

• Support fabrication of machine components and fixtures or support the repairs and improvements of mechanical devices which support the production departments.

• Perform other duties as assigned, such as fabricating, welding, milling, and lathe work.

• Support the evaluation, troubleshooting, and implementation of corrective actions for complex electric controls, on both microprocessor and relay designs.

• 1 year experience with Industrial Maintenance is required.

• Experience with woodworking machines, lathe, mills, and panel saws preferred.

Work Environment

Non-climate controlled manufacturing warehouse environment with constant noise and frequent vibrations. Working around equipment and machinery.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
