Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the construction industry, based in Riverside, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, and resolving billing disputes. This position is primarily office-based and offers an exciting opportunity for those with a background in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer invoices and handle billing disputes

• Reconcile accounts and ensure correct record keeping

• Manage customer credit applications and maintain up-to-date records

• Conduct light collections calls as needed to ensure timely payments

• Generate aging reports and perform specialty reporting tasks

• Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for Contractors to manage accounts and transactions

• Collaborate with the team to improve and update the Accounts Receivable system

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed

• Handle payment processing to ensure smooth financial operations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role within the Construction or Contractor industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting

• Experience with QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in handling accounts and financial data.
