Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Riverside, California

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Riverside, California. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be responsible for interpreting financial data, executing on the accounting, and developing a strong general ledger knowledge. You will be taking direction to create an accounting foundation used to generate reports. This position requires someone with solid business acumen and the ability to implement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret financial data and execute on the accounting to provide accurate financial information

• Develop and maintain strong general ledger knowledge to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Take direction and create an accounting foundation used to generate necessary reports

• Implement and build on best practices to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient and accurate data processing

• Manage accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conduct month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliation

• Prepare financial reconciliation and financial statements as required

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and employee data management

• Employ ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management and real-time visibility into operations.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in General Ledger

• Capable of handling Month End Close

• Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Hands-on experience in Financial Reconciliation

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws regarding business operations and accounting practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.
